Welcome To Light Lived

‘The light you have lived’ is the work of Melanie Tjoeng, a photographer, avid traveller and storyteller. She is based, loosely, on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia but will travel anywhere to shoot pictures for you. She is a documentary photographer but also shoots fashion, weddings, lifestyle; anything travel, food and people related.

She is dedicated to making beautiful work because she understands the necessity to record memories. Moreover, she appreciates the importance in creating something worthwhile; something tangible that can be remembered and appreciated. Whether it be your wedding day, a story, a family portrait or a fashion shoot in some great green field. She knows that these pictures will mean something to someone and that is more than she could ever hope for.

Melanie believes that beauty is everywhere and in everything and that photos lend themselves to something greater; they transcend language and cultural barriers. She believes photography can change the world and she is committed to making beautiful work and would love to shoot for you.
